In addition to a suite of 22 critical illnesses (1 minor and 21 major), this variant covers total and permanent disability resulting from accidental bodily injury, sickness, or disease
3. Platinum Variant
This variant offers coverage against 64 critical illnesses (5 minor and 59 major)
4. Platinum Plus Variant
In addition to a suite of 64 critical illnesses (5 minor and 59 major, this variant covers total and permanent disability resulting from accidental bodily injury, sickness, or disease.
5. Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) Variant
This variant covers total and permanent disability (TPD) as a result of accidental bodily injury, sickness, or disease.

Mr. Kumar purchases an Axis Max Life insurance policy with a 5-year premium payment term and a 10-year policy term (Rs. 20 Lakhs as base policy sum assured) for himself. To ensure additional protection, he also buys Axis Max Life Critical Illness and Disability - Secure Rider’s Platinum variant (Rs. 10 Lakhs rider sum assured with 5-year rider premium payment term) at a nominal incremental cost.
